How Lovellfaye Designed a Custom Wedding Dress that was Loved to the Moon and Back

Lovell and Elizabeth Juneau’s friendship dates back to when they were just 14 years old. While Lovell’s career unfolded as a custom designer, Elizabeth fell in love with Chris Juneau in chiropractic school. Elizabeth knew she and Chris wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, so she reached out to her longtime friend about creating a custom designed wedding dress before Chris popped the question.

A full decade after Lovell and Elizabeth first met, Elizabeth and Chris got engaged and it was official – Elizabeth was going to be a Lovellfaye bride.

“I always feel so special when people reach out to me about designing their wedding dress even before they’re engaged,” said Designer Lovell from Lovellfaye. “It means so much to me to not only be a part of Chris and Elizabeth’s wedding story, but I was also entrusted with creating a dress that my friend will cherish for the rest of her life.”

Here’s how Lovellfaye made Elizabeth’s dream wedding day look a reality:

Lovell and Elizabeth started the custom design process by discussing what aspects of her figure she wanted to feature. Elizabeth knew she wanted something more fitted and loved the V-neckline. Lovell took Elizabeth’s inspiration and started the fabric sourcing process.

They then decided on a silhouette, and Lovell made a muslin sample in the chosen silhouette. After Elizabeth’s first sample fitting, she told Lovell it already looked like her dream dress.

Once the sample was fitted perfectly to Elizabeth’s body, the two discussed different design details. Elizabeth knew that she wanted a 3D floral design all over the dress. After a couple rounds of fabric sourcing, they decided on two different fabrics and Lovell combined them.

There was one last piece that Elizabeth knew she wanted featured on her big day – the special phrase that she and Chris say to one another, “to the moon and back.” So, Lovell designed a statement veil that highlighted the couple’s phrase as the perfect finishing touch to Elizabeth’s wedding day look.

To top off the special event, Lovell was one of Elizabeth’s bridesmaids, and this wedding marked the first time Lovell was up at the altar while a bride walked down the aisle in a dress she created. And most importantly, Elizabeth said “I do” to Chris in front of friends and family, donned in a gown and veil that she loved to the moon and back

“I didn’t originally think I had a dream wedding dress, but when I saw what Lovell had created for me, it was the most perfect dress I’d ever seen,” Elizabeth said. “I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding gown, and I’m so glad I decided to get a custom dress from Lovellfaye instead of buying one from a store.”
